Day 01: Srinagar

 

Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer by to Hotel  Welcome drink on arrival. After noon visit the Mughal Gardens ,  Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of pleasure)  Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love)Dinner and Overnight in the Hotel

 

Day 02: Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar ( 86 Kms )

After breakfast full day excursion of Sonamarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonamarg is at 98kms from Srinagar. We will take about 3 hours to reach Sonamarg. Sonamarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonamarg is absolutely true to its name, which means ‘Meadow of Gold’. The moment you enter Sonamarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonamarg has few of the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir. You may take a pony ride  to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Return to Srinagar House Boat by the evening for overnight stay.

Day 03  : Srinagar – Doodh –E-Pather – Srinagar (Day Trip)

After breakfast. Drive to Doodhe-E-Pather .it is  approximately 47 km from the Srinagar.Doodh-e-pathri is yet another bowl shaped valley about 42 kms form Srinagar. It is a recent discovery in the valley covered with the green carpeted small meadow set in the heart of mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot can be visited from here. A two hour drive from Srinagar ( 47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. A flowing river resounds with soft wind passing through the pine trees of the enclosures of the valley. It is also called as a “VALLEY OF MILK” because it produces rich milk in a large quantity. It is said that the cattle grazing in the meadows of Doode e Pather, produces rich milk in large quantity , this reason it is called the “valley of milk” Doodh e Pather. The shepherds from different areas travel to this place along with their cattle’s and stay there for days together. This area also connected to Gurez valley on its north. A cup of tea with snack at tea stalls run by local people during the season at the main meadows could become your most pleasurable drink. A full day tour to Doodh e Pather with some packed lunch will definitely be a bonus of your visit to Kashmir. Evening back to Srinagar.Stay overnight in Hotel .
