DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT JAMMU RAILWAY STATION/AIRPORT & TRANSFER TO PAHALGAM(240 Kms – 07 Hrs One Way)
Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station and it is also the Winter capital of state Jammu & Kashmir. You will be met by our representative and transfer to Pahalgam . . (Distance between Jammu- Pahalgam is 240 Kms and it takes approx 7 Hours).. Soaking in the beauty around, you will reach Pahalgam as planned by this Kashmir family holiday. Pahalgam has been the location of many Bollywood movies inspiring many Bollywood fans flocking the town to see the places where their favourite actors shot their scenes. Pahalgam’s natural beauty is relatively untouched and its exceptional natural beauty and pristine mountains attracts every visitor into Kashmir to visit PahalgamHere, you can enjoy a horse ride or trek to Baisaran Valley to explore the nature’s charm closely. Afterwards, head to an optional sightseeing to Aru Valley and Chandanwadi (cars operated only by locals are allowed). Take pleasure in a leisurely stroll through Aru Village. Strolling along the Lidder Stream to Pahalgam is an unparalleled experience. later in the afternoon you may choose to visit Aru Valley, a tourist spot close to Pahalgam, This valley is famous for its scenic meadows and pristine mountains. DAY 02: PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING
After Breakfast enjoy rest of the day at leisure. enjoy an excursion to Chandanwadi, Starting point of AmarnathYatra and Betab valley ( where movie Betab was shot), later in the afternoon you may choose to visit Aru Valley, a tourist spot close to Pahalgam, This valley is famous for its scenic meadows and pristine mountains. Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam.
DAY 03: PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR ( 102 Kms – 03 Hrs One Way )
A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Srinagar. .. En route, the much celebrated saffron fields add color and fragrance to your journey. Furthermore, the majestic Pir Panjal Mountain ranges and the gurgling Lidder Stream flowing parallel to the road towards Pahalgam, makes your trip all the more scenic Check in at Super Deluxe hotel, freshen up and relax at the luxury of the royal hospitality. Later we start our Sightseeing tour by visit of Shankaracharya Temple, It is believed that it was the place where the great philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanathan Dharma. The original ceiling was dome- shaped and the brick roof is not more than a century old.
In the afternoon, we take a visit toTulip Garden Which Is Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa& Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike.In the evening you take a shikara ride on world famous Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 04: SRINAGAR TO SONMARG (DAY EXCURSION TO SONMARG) 87 Kms –04 Hrs One Way
After a leisurely breakfast, we transfer to Sonmarg. We depart on an excursion to Sonmarg. Sonmarg, which means Meadow of Gold, has its backdrop of snowy mountains against the blue sky. The drive offers incredible scenic beauty, dense pine forests and gigantics mountains. The place provides an ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountain lakes, glaciers, and Sri Amarnath Holy cave. The river meanders along here & abounds with Trout & Mahseer. Sonamarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 05 : SRINAGAR TO GULMARG –DAY EXCURSION TO GULMARG ( 68 Kms – 02 Hrs One Way )
After a leisurely breakfast we check out from Hotel & drive to Gulmarg via Bye-Pass. Gulmarg, called as “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is at an altitude of 8700 – ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. Gulmarg’s legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Originally called ‘Gaurimarg’ by shepherds, its present name was given in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild flowers. Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers from here. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country’s premier ski resort in the winter.Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 06: SRINAGAR TO DOODHPATHRI 65Kms – 2 Hours One Way
Satiate yourself with liplicious breakfast and pack your bags for more fun and more exciting day. Leave for the famous and exotic places of Kashmir; Doodhpathri. Doodhpathri at an altitude of 8, 957 ft above sea level is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. Enjoy the lunch at JKTDC restaurant. Mesmerised with the beauty return back to Srinagar fora delicious dinner and overnight stay at Houseboat.
DAY 07: DEPART JAMMU (FLY OUT)
A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the Jammu Railway Station. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Jammu Railway Station.
